The Kibidula farm units produce all of their own food on the farm, including cooking oil! Beautiful sunflowers cover the hillside in a vast array of vibrant yellow. These are planted, the seeds harvested, the oil is then extracted through a press, and the oil used in cooking in each of the 3 farm units. It is incredible to have organically grown plants that yield all you need to live on.

The Kibidula Agricultural school is a 2 year program that is holistic and well rounded. Each person studies the knowledge of organic agricultural farming as well as getting their hands into the soil. There are three farm units, as we call them. They are groups of students who live, study, and work together on the farm. Each farm unit has a portion of land in which they work and harvest the bounty. The students have rooms to sleep, a kitchen, meeting place, and carpentry shop. Each of these students feel much gratitude for the opportunity that Kibidula has given them.

Kibidula has a vast amount of land which is used for farming, but there are so many untilled acres that we thought it could be used for grazing land also. So now Kibidula raises cattle and sheep, they are sold locally to help sustain the finances of the organization.

Kibidula’s mission is all about education; our Agricultural school, Livestock, Carpentry, and Tailoring but all these are just for making it in this world. Kibidula’s core mission is education for eternity, for understanding and spreading the wonderful gospel message that changes people forever. We have a school of Evangelism as well as Lay Missionaries which we sponsor and send out all over Tanzania. The One Day Church program ties in with both of these programs and plants churches throughout the country.
